Thoothukkudi Constituency of Tamil Nadu was won by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from DMK party.Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan was the runner up from Thoothukkudiwho lost by 347209 votes. belonged to BJP. In 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi got 563143 votes and won by a margin of 347209 votes.
