Vaithilingam in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from INC party.Dr. Narayanasamy Kesavan was the runner up from PUDUCHERRYwho lost by 197025 votes. belonged to AINRC. In 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Ve. Vaithilingam got 444981 votes and won by a margin of 197025 votes.
