Uikey in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from BJP party.Ramu Tekam (Advocate) was the runner up from Betulwho lost by 360241 votes. belonged to INC. In 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Durga Das (D.D.) Uikey got 811248 votes and won by a margin of 360241 votes.
